Some may know that both Dee and I are working towards a distinction with the Royal Photographic Society, the first level the LRPS, where you need a panel of 10 images which reflect your ability as a photographer using a variety of approach and techniques (use of different lenses, narrow depth of field, movement, landscape, people etc) and although not essential but advisable, subject matter.
We attended an RPS advisory day in February, as observers, to get a first hand idea of what we needed, following which we each put together a panel of images with a number of "spares" and booked a further advisory day where our panels could be advised upon
Both rather nervous, we went to Bath yesterday and were dead chuffed with the outcome - both our panels were well up to the standard required and were considered ready for submission for the distinction and we are now waiting for a confirmed assessment date
looking forward to that with intrepidation
