    New season

Sorry for the lack of posting lately - just struggling to get to grips with anything at the moment - I mean we are a quarter of the way through the year already. . . . . how did THAT happen? Anyway:

So that was the season opener for us, Snetterton lived up to it's barmy climate. Light spots of rain on Saturday morning clearing to warm soft breeze and great racing whereas Sunday was. . . . . can you guess. . . . . go on. . . . . . yep. . . . Raining hooray lol. Still the waterproofs did their job and my boot's 'almost' made it to the end of the day.

Canon 1DX with the Canon 70-200 / 1.4 mkIII extender.

    A nice slow pan Cooper.

    Caterham shenanigans

    Who doesn't love a 5ltr Ford Capri

    Little damp under foot

    Just drying the circuit off

And the 1970 Ford Boss Mustang 5800cc for no other reason than I love it!!!

Full Gallery's as usual if your interested:

    Saturday

    Sunday

    Thanks for looking

You've made the best of the weather David. Lot's of fun with the Caterham, peak of the action with the Cossie and I agree with your comments on the Boss.

Lots of shots on your site and I especially liked the Sunbeam Tiger, classic Mini's and MKI Escort .......... looks mean in black!

Thanks guys, first one back is always a struggle.

Colin - that black sunbeam tiger was an animal, leapt out of every corner, they weren't known for handling but this one is like a go cart.

            Re: New season

I am still recovering from viewing 42 pages of images for Saturday and 33 for Sunday!

Sunday was particularly wet, probably an advantage for the Mini's and I did notice the yellow Lotus Europa ........... always wanted one of those in JPS colours. Mrs C said no!

              Nice set David.
Did you try to crop #2 to remove top left wood thing.
Same for #3, I would have cropped right over the fence to eliminate the parked car.

Sorry lol. Because I shoot for the whole club and not just one or two teams means lots of extra shots, tried less and got the “not many of me” quotes, so aim to keep it under 2k a day and seems to keep everyone happy

                Tiring though

Nice set David, you have no luck with the weather, my favourite is the Sierra drying the circuit!

I am actually wondering if I am a minor rain god - it just likes to get me soaked lol. Thanks ;-)
