    Siskin, Chaffinch, Goldfinch.

Was repairing fencing yesterday at top of woods where I got an old shed - asbestos roof covered in moss. All afternoon there was a steady flow of birds feeding on something on the roof then every few minutes flying down to the cattle drinking trough and washing their beaks off, in the main Siskin, Chaffinch and Goldfinch -- Strange

Strange or not , those are cracking . Do you crop your images much Trev ? You got loads of detail in all of these .

Thanks Mark -- Small crop taken with 100-400, don't like to mess around no more than is possible - what I see is what I take and put up here. Its something that's bugging me a bit - why digital pictures have to be messed about with by people - we got our transparencies back in the days of film and were happy with them - if not they went in the bin.

Pretty much agree with you , far to much enhancing goes on , I don`t trust half the photos I see anymore , hence my lack of comments lately , but if you do shoot raw , think you do need to enhance some , and confess most of my photos need some cropping , though less is more and I have a limit , so much disturbance where I am it`s hard to get near anything unless it`s dark .
