Over the last few years I have upgraded various parts of my PC and have got it to reasonably stable / capable state, works with terabits of files no problem except for the slow HD. I'm not a total technophobe but the thought of cloning my old noisy hard drive and replacing it with a new SSD one was a little worrisome to say the least.
At the weekend I bit the bullet and went for it - complete clone of everything inc the boot set up, removed old drive / plugged newly cloned one in held breath and turned it on. . . . . works a treat first time, faster, quieter and a joy to use.
Virtual drinks all round ;-)
