Hi All,

April is the best Month of the year for Display flying at RAF Coningsby as the Typhoon and BBMF Pilots practise for the new season, here are a few BBMF, the Hurricane being flown by a new Pilot to the Team

I probably will, Paul. Off to my favourite piece of hallowed ground, Old Warden, this morning. It's their pilot DA week.

I'll keep an eye on the weather next week and pop over, although Tuesday is out, but I'll give you a ping, first.

Lovely set of shots Paul.

I'm just umm-ing and ah-ing whether to go to RIAT as well as Farnborough this year. I missed it last year due to illness (and the bad weather didn't help) although I had a ticket! Farnborough is just down the road (well, two stops on the train) from me so easy to take equipment. Fairford is about 90 minutes away by motorbike (to jump the queues ) but I can't carry as much. No Red Arrows display at F'boro, of course.

I think your shots (and from others) and those in the coming weeks no doubt will persuade me it's worth it
