I spotted an adder whilst out on Wildmoor Heath but he wouldn't come out of the undergrowth!

Excellent catch Chris, not an easy creature to get by any means unless you go to the BWC where they sit and wait for you. In the wild a very different kettle of fish. I see many but non what I consider photographic.

Well spotted Chris, I know they are in the woods near me where we often walk, but have never seen one. I like the intricate markings

Thanks Paul. It's the first one I've seen in a long while - and I send quite a lot of time walking in what could be termed "adder country"
