1st attempt with Affinity Photo HDR Tool

    Hi all,

As the title says, first attempt at the HDR tool in affinity photo. I took one photo of the church and processed in DPP a copy under exposed, one correctly exposed and one over exposed, then merged as a HDR image.

All comments welcomed, good or bad, or much appreciated advice.

I'm no HDR expert but that seems to have worked well...some good toning in the sky, stonework and foliage...I like the composition too.

        Looks pretty good to me.

You can do HDR in both DPP and Affinity (although DPP restricts it to three exposures I think) but I usually find I can get better and interesting results using the Nik Collection HDR Efex plugin.
The NIK Collection are plugins that are free to download then you install them and just tell Affinity where they are using Edit/Preferences/Photshop plugins. https://www.google.com/nikcollection/
