    Banded Demoiselle

Haven't had a lot of experience in photographing these pretty damselflies. This was also my first try at focus stacking two different shots to ensure it was all in focus.

Never tried stacking , not sure such a large subject really needs it ? I can offer a little advice though I confess to not being an expert , but If you get your lens as parallel with your subject as you can more of it will will be in focus / sharper . I always focus on the eye / head , as generally speaking if it`s soft the whole image is lost . You can often get away with a lot if the head / eyes are sharp . Cracking little insects arn`t they ? And just a touch easier to creep up on than Dragonflies in my experience .
