    Barn Owl on black

    Hi All,

Inspired by Steve's shot of the same, but nowhere near as good, taken against a row of dark trees

Perhaps not perfect but a good shot, not an easy one at the best of times - well done

I would be delighted to see one that close let alone get such a great photo of it. Grand job.

Like others I'd be happy to have taken this image. Only get brief glimpses of our local barn owl.

stands out well from the dark background, only slight downside is the darkness of the eye
