    The old AA Box

    Hi All,

    wasn't sure where to post this really, could have gone into buildings but that would have been stretching it a bit


    Colour or Mono??

    Nice. Colour for me - the mono loses the box into the background just a bit in my view.

      Colour definitely, such a sharp yellow shame to waste it.

        The tonal differences in the 2nd BW image are not strong enough to make the Box Stand out from the trees. What I would try is to brighten the greens and yellows to where the tree leaves turn white (a Fax IR Look) which would separate the box from the trees. Because of that I would also go for the color.

          Thanks for the opinions Guys, have to say I agree, it was the era the box was from that made me try mono.

                    I do think that monochrome is the right treatment for the subject but I agree about manipulating the image to make the box stand out more. Good image.

                        For me the colour of the box is important so whilst the B&W version is good think the colour version is best. Would a color pop version work?

                          definitely colour for me...although colour pop might work....but the fashion police might come after you.
