    Cruise Skye

    A number of cruise ships visit Portree, Isle of Skye during the summer. They anchor in the entrance to Loch Portree with Beinn Tianavaig in the background.

    MS Zuiderdam is one of the bigger ones at 935 feet and 82,000 tonnes.

      Couple of cracking shots, cannot believe so large a ship can anchor so close to the shore. Must fill Skye with so many passengers.

          Interesting contrast in beautiful scenery and a horrible, ugly (in my opinion!) hotel on water.

            Have to agree with Chris and disagree with Tom, these ships are like floating tower blocks, bloody awful things. What I do like on #1 is the scenery however
