    Meadow Pipit or Skylark?

While taking these shots I was originally convinced this was a meadow pipit. It wasn't until I got back that I noticed the crest on the second shot so probably a skylark - although there was a very strong breeze coming from that direction!

Anyone got a strong opinion either way? More photos on Flickr.

Nice shots Chris , definitely a Meadow Pipit , orange legs , pale eyering and a very long hind claw which is the biggest indicator

Thanks for the comments & the positive ID. I was sure it was a meadow pipit but then almost convinced myself otherwise!
