    Let Joy be Unconfined!!

Deep Joy - we have just had a call from our daughter to say that she has survived the viva for her Phd in Chemistry and that she will be graduating as Dr Liddle in July.

It has been a long and sometimes rocky road, but at last we have arrived at the sunlit uplands!

    Gonna shift some drink tonight!

        Well done to her! banana_dance01.gif

I did chemistry at college and I know how difficult it gets at degree level let alone postgraduate.

Many congratulations to Dr Liddle. I had a Chemistry as a kid, almost set fire to the house showing me mum how gas was made from coal

Many thanks to all who have responded to my outburst of parental joy.

I have passed on your felicitations to my daughter who was quite touched.

I'm pleased to report that we have escaped such dangers, particularly since she has found herself employed in the explosives field!
