Pretty much exactly the same weight as the Mk II. Looks like it will retail for a similar price to the Mk II as well, too much for me.

It reads as bar a coating the same lens, cannot see any advantage in upgrading, element better at resisting fingerprints does mean squat when you use a filter.

If it means MKII bargains then that's a good thing ….

                Re: New lenses

For me, these typify what Canon has been widely criticised for, lack of innovation. They just produce slightly upgraded versions of the same product each time, same for lenses and bodies. Other companies are producing much more original and exciting products. The Canon CEO did acknowledge as much in a widely reported interview early this year but we are yet to see the increased innovation which he promised.

Sigma 24 - 35 F2 Art, 135 mm F1.8 Art, 17 - 50 F2.8 DC, 105 mm OS macro, 100 - 400 C, 150 - 600 C.

If I wanted a whiter white I would buy a different washing up powder. I suppose when you get close to perfection on a lens, there's not a lot more you can do, which is a heck of an endorsment for my Mk11 which will remain my Mk11.

I take it they do know black and white are not colours.
