    When
I am taking shots of my countryside I always try & keep electric poles out of the shot. But in yours Brian they don’t seem out of place or interrupt the beauty of the shots, so I might change my mind in future.

Thanks Dave...electrical distribution infrastructure relates to some of the work I do so I’m a bit drawn to pylons and poles...I think you have to purposefully make them part of the composition else they easily spoil a nice landscape...thanks for commenting

As a resident of Wales, viewing a flat landscape is a strange experience. It made a very pleasant change. Nice pictures and infrastructure is now part of the landscape so it is natural to include it.

                Re: Lincolnshire landscape

For me #1 really stands out. The internal framing by the trees works really well being just off centre, and the electric pole balances both the lone tree and the trunk of the right hand framing tree so it adds and fits rather than detracts.
The other two I find less successful I'm afraid Brian but love the variation of style throughout the set.

Like the first one Brian the telegraph pole certainly does not impact on photo, the centre tree really takes main focal point for me .

I like these especially the first one and don't have a problem with the poles and wires.

                          Cheers,

No. 1 for me Brian - the pole isn't a problem - I find the tramlines in the crop left by the tractor draw my eye straight past it and into the distance
