    This could have gone in Mono or Panoramas but thought as it really is a landscape shot I'd put it here...

    Indeed it was. Camera is an IR converted EOS 1000D I found on the Ffordes website for less than a conversion would have cost.

    Never though of trying IR, to be honest I think I would prefer the natural colours, not that I don't think it's a good idea to experiment
