    Barn Owl into the Light

    Hi All,

The location of the hunting fields for the Barn Owls am watching at the moment are offering challenging condition, well they are for me anyway!! It constantly flits from having sky behind to having hedges behind, it moves from dark to light too quick for me to change from + exp comp to - comp, have been using much more -2/3rds comp than ever before.

Here is one coming out of the dark and flying towards the setting Sun

You did a good job in difficult conditions. Have you tried Auto ISO?

That's really nice. Whilst you've challenging conditions the end result is very good as the bird really stands out against the BG.
