    Chicken

    I expect to get told off for putting this under animals instead of birds, but it is domestic. Playing with my 150-600 fairly close up to this bird, focused on the eye, but the end of the beak seems soft. Is that because I was to close, wrong settings, what? Help & comments appreciated. Dave

    Nice shot David, I would say it's in the right department - I eat one today on Dartmoor!

      Either to close or you could have done with a deeper depth of field setting. It's a trade off between creamy background or beak. I would be happy with it.
