Somerset Cider Pubs Part 2 - The Seymour Arms

The Seymour Arms is in Witham Friary, about eight miles from Frome, also on the CAMRA register of historic interiors and I know it well as my sister used to live in the village so visited often.

All is exactly as I remembered except the lean-to extension seen here :

As evidenced by the inscribed brick set into the wall above the door, the extension was built to commemorate Charles and Dianna's wedding in 1981... it's a toilet block

The pub is wet sales only (of which 90% is cider) with service via a hatch:

And the interior is unchanged from when I used to visit nearly forty years ago:

A very interesting set John.....the interior shots just ooze character....the last one has well balanced light from the window and interior.
Four and five are my pick...

        Thanks Brian and Tom

I did have to use HDR for those where the outside is visible. I took a new approach to processing them by still running off seven shots (+3 +2 +1 0 -1 -2 -3) but selecting only two or three for processing.

        Cheers,
        John

Great set, John, looks like you have really captured its character. Agree with Brian, 4 and 5 are the pick of a good bunch. I wish I lived a bit closer, I'm feeling a bit thirsty now...

Thanks folks. I was a bit more lucky with the interior at this pub than the other one.

                Cheers,
