    Default Bee RIP

Unfortunately found in my garden but gave me an opportunity to get the extension tubes out. I did also try with a single colour background and on a pin but couldn't get the body to sit in the right position for those, not that this is anywhere near perfect but it was the best I could manoeuvre it into.

not bad detail Alex but a dead insect is ripe for a focus stack - he is not going anywhere - and you could get complete front to back focus

Thank Tom and absolutely fair point, Stan, I should have thought to do a focus stack, particularly as I've never tried before. Will keep an eye out for my next opportunity.
