    Badger Cub

With this prolonged hot dry spell I am providing fresh drinking water at the local sett to help them out and this little one has a wet nose and muzzle after taking a good drink last night

    Re: Badger Cub

Lovey shot Steve. I got a plank running up to a drinking trough that they use. Hearing reports of a lot of badger damage to lawns with this hot weather. Earth worms are going deep not coming to the surface - badger's digging lawns up to find them.
Went to see someone this morning over the problem - you would have thought they had ploughed the lawn there was so much digging from the previous night.
Hence never feed badgers in your garden if you have neighbours.

Badgers have eaten everybody's carrots on our allotments this year, they were caught by a trail camera. Wondering what they are going for next. Six weeks without a drop of rain here, ground like concrete, don't water your lawn if you have badgers around.

Very good advice, re watering lawns. Not much you can do about the carrots

Really nice shot and fair play for giving the guys drinking water, we think it's tough in this heat and we can turn a tap on- they cant
