    Oh Deer, the wrong combo.

I was up in the northwest highlands recently and took a walk by Loch Druim Suardalain in Glen Canisp. A dull day and I couldn't decide what combo to take with me. Settled for the 6D and 24-105 and binoculars.
Wasn't far into the walk when I caught some movement in the woods on the hill. Binoculars, deer, wrong combo camera/lens. Take shot anyway.

    Massive crop.

Ha, it does happen to others then, not just me?

Couldn't rest the lens on the binoculars? might have been worth a shot (excuse the pun)
