    Spitfire

We went to the Battle Proms at Blenheim Palace on Saturday and were treated to a really nice display from the Spitfire while the orchestra played.

Not the best camera setup for this sort of thing but felt these were ok.

I think you've done a good job of using the flags to help fill the frame as I guess 150mm wasn't really long enough to get closer shots of the Spitfire itself.

Thanks Stan, pleased you liked them.

Not really as even with the CMOS sensor its only around 240mm at full frame, so these are quite a crop; but I was happy with the results from the M6.

          Thanks Paul

Yes fortunately it was a lovely summer evening or I don't think I would have got anything even half decent!

Nicely done, you managed to get some prop blur, it's the Grace Spitfire with a known war history FYI.

                Re: Spitfire

Thanks Trev. I knew it probably needed a slower shutter to get more prop blur but was not confident the camera/I would cope!

                Thanks Tom
