    Long Quarry Point

Redgate Beach was once one of the most popular beaches in the Torquay area but it has been closed for many years now due to a perceived risk of rock fall. It's still possible to view it from the adjacent Anstey's Cove and I've posted some images of both in the past. Long Quarry Point marks the north end of Redgate and here I've tried to capture the tantalising glimpse obtained while walking down through the woods to Anstey's Cove.

Really nice shot of what looks like a lovely spot. If I were being picky(!), I might have tried to clone out the branch just above the pointy rock (a technical term that geologists use I think you'll find ) so that the horizon wasn't broken in the middle.

Well seen, the trees frame it well

              Thanks folks

I may take a look at pruning the branch.

Really nice shot John. It works well having the view off centre as that adds to the feeling no of peering through the trees.
