    Luskentyre Isle of Harris

It's a bit wet here today so I decided to process some images, this is one from June this year. For those that like to zoom in I've also uploaded a 3120px version to my photostream.

As always your thought, comments and suggestions are welcome.

Really nicely done Peter. Looks an idilic setting, if the weather is warm!

Love the turquoise water. What is causing the purplish look in the clouds?

Very nice indeed especially the big job on Flickr Also good to see a picture of something that is neither crawling nor flying

          Cheers,

Hi Tom, thanks for looking and commenting. I suspect that the purple you make reference to (Image centre?) is probably caused during my post processing I shall have to revisit it. Thanks for pointing it out

It's very nice, but a little Caribbean, is the water really that colour?

                  Hi Jon
It would seem that on my visits the sea has been this colour!
I've been looking back in my archive to see if I could find an image of this location with an overcast sky which would have impacted on the colour of the sea, I don't have one. However I have had some days on the Island where it has been four seasons in a morning never mind a day!
If you can find time, there was a TV program on Channel 4 over the weekend called "Homes by the Sea" it is well worth watching on catch up, just so you could see the scenery, colours and seascapes of Harris and Lewis.
