    Hares in Pairs

    Hi All,

Had a lovely time yesterday just sat watching 6 Hares in a recently cut field, there was a definite Pair with the Male jealously guarding his mate, great to watch him dashing away to chase off the interlopers sat round hoping for their chance, several times though, as he dashed off left an interloper would try and sneak in from the right so he had to come flying back and go that way.

After opening up the thread and being slightly disappointed I didn’t see the Eiffel Tower as a backdrop for them, I realise I had misread the title :).

Nice clear photos. Hope the one made it safely over the road.

        Re: Hares in Pairs

I have somehow developed an obsession with hares recently, however I really haven't had a chance to photograph one - the only time I see them is as they run across the road in front of me and disappear into the long grass on my way to work in the mornings.

These are some lovely images Paul - thanks for my "hare fix"!
