Re: Another festival sunset
Thanks Bill Tom and Trev
I did take some 'straight' shots of the sunsets we saw but had been experimenting with deliberate flare with stage lights and thought it may work with the big light in the sky. I like the result but still can't decide if a square crop is more effective.
Cheers,
John

Re: Another festival sunset
Lovely image, John, and looking at the list of bands playing, fits the psychedelic vibe perfectly. Anywhere that has a Daevid Allen stage is going to be a bit wacky. Great vision to have planned and taken the shot.
I prefer it as is, not square.Canon EOS 7D

Re: Another festival sunset
Thanks Alex
Daevid will always be with us and, even though he is flying his teapot in other worlds now, Gong live on at Kozfest with past members appearing in their current bands or as guests in others. All musically incestuous, all musically wonderful
Cheers,
John

Re: Another festival sunset
Like it...
Don't think it needs to be square but centralising it a touch more is probably worth the effort.Last edited by El Sid; 09-08-2018, 11:54.Nigel
