    Wireless File Transmit

    Hi Guys and Girls,

Does anybody know if there's a way to automatically transfer / transmit JPGs from a Canon EOS 5D Mark IV direct in to a cloud based storage service....specifically Google Drive or Dropbox?

Would be great if this could be done in camera using the inbuilt WiFi.

I've doing a live event soon and wondered if it was possible to transmit on the fly. I know the Pros do this but I think they have 1Ds and extra kit

    Any ideas?

    Cheers

If you set the WiFi transfer from camera to your laptop or tablet you would just need to have your photo folder synchronised with Dropbox...I doubt you could bypass the computer/ tablet stage.

FTP might do the trick. I can setup an FTP server and get the camera to connect to the server via WiFi either by an AP or via phone acting as an AP. Anything else then you do need the middle man which I'm trying to avoid.
