Swallow hard at the top of a ladder

I was clearing the gutters on the house and the swallows were feeding the young on the roof. So I had to get a shot - not easy climbing a ladder with a camera in hand.

I was surprised how unconcerned the birds were with my proximity while I was working and then taking pictures.
