    Jackson Falls, NH

Last weekend SWMBO and I headed up to Jackson, NH for a weekend getaway. On that trip, we took a hike to a waterfalls, then headed over to Mt Washington (Highest point on the east coast) to ride the 1st COG Railroad, then a trip to Portland, Maine to the Lighthouse. On that trip I took only the 80D and the Tamron 18-400 to see how it preformed in varies scenarios the trip had to offer. I have posted images of the Lighthouse and the Bear we saw, here are some images from the Falls:

Nice set, Tom. The first one looks to have a bit of a strange colour cast. The surface of the water looks a bit purplish to me and I'm not sure whether it's the shot, this tablet or just me! Anyone else see it?

It does, but that is from the rocks & sun that the water is traveling across

I love the White Mountains, and have driven up the Auto Road on Mount Washington several times (the train is quite dear for 4 of us, takes a while, and is a fair drive from where we normally have stayed). Jackson's a lovely little spot, and those are nice shots of the falls.
Please don't ask about my kit, it's embarrassing!
