Just been reading up on Canon's new release the new 600mm f4 Mklll lens, would love one of those.
Just counted the 5p's I ve saved in my whisky bottle, and can confirm I won't be getting the new 600mm f4 lens anytime in the near future -- how about You

Just put my order in. Although if I don't win the lottery tonight I'll have to cancel

Seriously, I dont think I'd ever find one practical for my use.

Quiet agree Chris but it would look good in a hide with everyone else with their Instamatic's

I would love one, but that price is so far out of reach!

Weirdly, a friend (Nikon shooter) hired a Nikon 600 f4, but they delivered a Canon mkII! The hire company quickly sent over the Nikon version for him, but didn't want to collect them till after the weekend!
So, I had a very pleasant morning using the Canon 600 f4 mkII.
Absolutely stunning lens, so I would expect the mkIII to be better... if that's possible!

I did feel a bit smug with the looks we were getting, just sorry I had to give it back!

I bought my first house for less than half the price of that lens. My first new car, I would have been able to have four for that price

Mike, just hang on in there like I am ---- Christmas is coming!

Yes Jeff they do, but you need to hack off the end of the lens (the canon fit bit)with a hacksaw first

Re: New Canon 600mm f4 Lens

Like a good few members i already have the reach of a 600mm lens with my Sigma 150-600, both S and C versions and am satisfied with what i have and cant imagine cost for cost, that the Canon will produce images 7 or 8 times better than my S or 15 times better than my C

Having said that, should I win the Lottery jackpot then i might consider one, along with employing someone to carry it for me
