    Hover-flies

Recently bought a Sigma Close-up lens (AML72-01) to go with my Sigma 18-300mm F3.5-6.3 DC Macro lens. Tried it out in the garden on my 70D.

        Re: Hover-flies

Recently bought a Sigma Close-up lens
that has worked very well, almost as good as a dedicated macro lens, on the first the only slight niggle is the tail end has fallen out of the plane of focus

            Re: Hover-flies

Thanks for your comments. No.2 is my favourite. I'm pleased with this close-up lens, seems to give reasonable results. I can use the 18-300mm lens as my walkabout lens (it's not too big and heavy), and screw the close-up lens on if I need a macro shot.
