    River Otter at Dotton Bridge

Someone told me there were three Cattle Egrets on the River Otter this morning, so over I went.
Never even saw a Blackbird leave alone Cattle Egrets in the three hours I spent there. Rather then go home empty handed I got this.

Stunning and better than a snapshot of something feathered any day

Great shot, well worth 3 hours of searching & on such a lovely river. Only thing wrong with it is the Himalayan Balsem in the foreground, hate the stuff.

Himalayan Balsem is a major problem on the Otter, on the lower sections its completely taken over - quite agree with your comment
