    Garden Cross Spider and Prey

    Shooting this spider in the garden this afternoon feasting on his prey but got a little too close and he moved away which, I though made for a different take

      Having looked in Collins, I am fairly sure it is a dead fly

          or rather on HER prey - the female of the species is more deadly than the male, as the old song has it. At this time of the year males have given up eating, only one thing on their mind.
