The view of the Snowdon horseshoe from Llynnau Mymbyr never disappoints. I’ve stood here at dawn, dusk, in winter and summer and taken many images. A calm morning with some snow on the peaks augured well for this one and, as usual, I had the place to myself. For sheer quality of results, I often reach for my 24-70 F2.8L. It’s heavy and has been updated several times but it’s a wonderful bit of glass at its long end.
