    Norfolk Coast Path

It's difficult to convey the size of the beaches and sky along the Norfolk Coast Path so I thought I'd try a panorama. This is a ten-image stitch of a section along the path near Holme Dunes National Nature Reserve (out favourite spot!) using shots taken with the 15-85 lens. Best viewed on Flickr. Comments most definitely welcomed!

That works really well, Chris, great choice to go with the pano and well constructed with the two paths framing the image and the zig zag feature adds great interest.

I think this conveys the size of the beach very well....pano really helps to do that.
Is there any more height to be had ….its a shame to cut off the tops of the foremost clouds?

Thanks everyone for your comments, much appreciated.

Unfortunately, there is no more sky available. Perhaps the lesson learnt is to do two rows of landscape shots rather than a row of portrait shots as I had here and ensure far more coverage than one might think one needs!

              Re: Norfolk Coast Path

I like that! I'm a fan of huge, multi-stitch panos so this is right up my street. It is possible to get too wide and letterboxy so agree that a bit more sky would have been nice but you shot in portrait so you did all you could (unless a canvas resize and content aware fill in PS would work). I've only tried two levels (top and bottom sets) and the stitch wasn't successful. But you got a great image out of what you have and the zigzag fence adds well to it.

              Cheers,
              John

Even Flickr isn't big enough for this... It needs to be seen really big!

...rather than a row of portrait shots ...
Most advice I've read suggests that for panoramic shots portrait format works better as it gives a bit more height to the final image.
