I bought the Sigma 105mm f1.4 Art lens about 6 weeks ago. As I said in the title it is the size of a small dustbin (Front element is 105mm diameter) and heavy but the results are sublime. It is wonderful to be able to get such amzingly sharp portraits and superb bokeh. I read all the reviews and decided it was perfect for my portraiture. Like other art lenses the firmware can be updated using the Sigma Dock. The large front element significantly reduces vignetting.
The first two images were taken at f 5.6 the crop shows the quality. The second 2 images were taken at f 2.0 and you can see the shallow depth of field and the bokeh. The crop really shows how shallow you can get the depth of field.
