    Dragonflies still around

    With the continuing nice weather there are still dragonflies around, mainly found resting in the sun on a wooden bridge.

        The common darter is one of the last to emerge, the flight period being July-October, so quite normal to see them on the wing at this time of the year. Saw some at Arne on Sunday including a few immature males
