Final trip to Brownsea today before the island closes at the weekend for the winter. Heaving with kids but managed to encourage the squirrels onto a log i had not used before

Nicely done Stan, for the size of the animal I might have considered cropping some off the bottom of the log, it seems to overpower the subject a bit for me.

Lovely shot Stan but think I agree with Paul, put the saw across the bottom of the log, but nevertheless a nice shot

see what you mean but to crop would leave the log looking just like all the others i have shot them on and i thought this one was a bit different and quite attractive. Also i composed so the squirrel was more or less on the third

Very nice Stan, but I can't quite make out what is just to left of its hand. My eye keeps getting drawn to it.
