Part of the family of the of twelve that I have been watching all year enjoying a few peanuts , as winter approaches they are spending more time underground and don't now appear before dusk.

Nice natural shot Steve.

Emergence time at this time of year is normally between 20.00 and 21.00hrs. A couple of mine were down rooting around last night under the bird table at 20.20 which would indicate they poked their noses out at about 20.00. I must go up one night and take a look although I stopped feeding them at the beginning of the summer, they were becoming too tame. So much so that a friend who was up photographing them one night had three of them trying to rummage in his camera bag beside him.
