    Errigal Mountain

On a calm morning in County Donegal the late October sun casts a long shadow from Errigal Mountain (2463 ft, 751 m). Canon EOS 5D.

Don't think I've ever seen a picture of a mountain casting it's shadow before. Lovely subtle colours too.

Nice mountainscape..especially with the river leading away on the left.

Thanks so much for the comments. Really appreciate it.

It's a good area for outdoor shots. Bottom left you can just about make out a church I shot on colour film during another holiday years earlier (red channel separation). EOS 50.

I image of the church is amazing, Undercrank. The way that the hills behind it get gradually out of focus looks very spooky. Love it.

A great picture of the mountain and I was so glad I could navigate to that all essential full-screen version on your website

                  Cheers,
