    Lincoln Catherdral

Just been to Lincoln, here are a few of my photos.

As usual for me the front is covered in scaffolding.

    Inside - with tripod

Lincoln 7 by Stackman1, on Flickr

Went of the Roof Tour well worth the extra, but couldn't use the tripod, no space.

Lincoln 5 by Stackman1, on Flickr

    One of the carvings outside.

Lincoln 10 by Stackman1, on Flickr

    Thanks for looking

Thanks for sharing. I've never been to Lincoln though I planned to go once on the way home from a customer visit in Yorkshire - somehow I managed to miss the right junction and never made it...

You have captured the interior well in the second shot. With the exterior there is often a problem with scaffolding etc due to their age. I would have either tried to find an angle where the scaffolding was not in view or forget it and concentrate on the interior

Great set, Chris. Really great to see it devoid of other people in the second, but my favourite is the third - a great point of view.

A very good set....especially the two interior shots. Much better than my efforts from a few years ago when the magna carta was on display at the castle.
I’d be interested in your equipment used and settings for reference?

                Thanks for the comments.

Brian - I had forgotten to add the shooting details when converting from Raw to Jpeg. All were taken with a 6D, the top three using the 35mm F2. The ground level interior was 5 seconds, f13, ISO 200, the high level was set to scene intelligent auto - 1/30, f2.8, ISO 1000.
