    A foggy Botallack

    One from back in May. I had photographed the Crowns Engine Houses earlier in the week but as this evening had a much better weather forecast, I thought I'd try for a sunset shot. The visibility was worse than it shows on the shot.

        That’s a nice pic John, the long exposure gives lovely colour variations and patterns in the sea. It probably helped to cut through the mist as well.

                      A classic composition with some atmospheric Cornish mist all benefitting nicely from LE

                      I was going to say a modest amount of LE but Flickr reveals it to be 240 seconds worth! What strength ND filter did you use?
