    That works better than the colour versions Brian, even though the lighting is a little flat. The work you have done on the sky seems to hold everything together and I especially like the second image, though I might be tempted to crop a little off the bottom, just to lose the lines running across the shot.

      Great change and I certainly think it works better in mono, 0033 appears even more to have the oldy worldy look. Great shots.

                I also think that's a big improvement, though I may have gone a little bit further with the crop and taken it up to the base of the gate at the far side of the field.

                        Yes it’s quite some time Brian...I learnt most of what I know about digital from this forum and my fumbling with my 400D as a first dSLR.
                        ....and I’ve never forgotten the time you kindly lent me your 70-200f4L Brian.
