    The Brewer Staircase

This spiral staircase is at the back of the Heals store in Tottenham Court Road, built in 1916 and named after its designer, Cecil Brewer. Its very popular amongst photographers and the staff are most welcoming, even providing a chill out area at the bottom of the spiral and a flat screen showing movies - Harry Potter when we were there. This is a view down from towards the top

One of the best spiral stair shots I have seen Stan.

Very effective, has a certain 'eye-like' appearance.

Great shot Stan, wouldn't fancy sliding down that bannister though.

Very nice Stan. I notice that you’ve unfortunately stopped including exif details.

                thanks for looking everyone

I stopped a while ago John as I got the impression that no one on the forum was interested in that information but quite happy to provide when asked. This one was with my canon EFS 10-22, hand held leaning over the banister with camera at arms length, using live view, 1/50, f8, ISO 3200

Thanks Stan. On our previous forum, it had to be provided and personally I think that was a good idea.

I quite agree and of course you could only post a single image on a thread, which along with the exif meant meaningful feedback
