    Buttermere reflection

Had a few days in the Lake District in Oct and managed two good weather days out of six, pretty good going for the Lakes.
This is one of several reflection shots, taken from the south/eastern end.

The pines at Buttermere, from my part of the world and my favourite place on this tiny rock we inhabit, and you have done them proud. Well done

Beautiful light, perfect reflection and how very kind of the owners to build their cottage in the perfect focal point of the shot.

Thanks for the nice comments. I try to get to the Lake District as often as I can, just wish it was a bit closer than a six hour drive from Kent. Actually this trip took me 8.5 hrs to get there because of traffic problems.

                              As per above comments.

I managed to get there a few months ago with Mrs Wifey, and I always do that route round.
Keswick shoreline, down Derwent Water, Ashness Bridge, Honister, Buttermere, Crummock Water, then round to Whinlatter Forest.
One of, if not my favourite parts of the UK.

                              You have done it justice!
