    Curlew in Flight II

    This is the other shot I managed with the whole bird in the frame, only problem was the beak and wing tip were on the edge of the frame so had to add some canvas in PP

                          but lost me on the adding canvas bit
                          Quite easy as mostly automated by the software

                          this is the original shot out of the camera (direct upload so ignore the quality)

                          Opened in Photoshop CC and then recomposed, using the crop tool set to "front image", to lose some canvas on the left and adding some on the right. Before pressing "enter" tick the box "content aware" which is to the right along the top of the workspace and PS will fill in the otherwise blank canvas created to the right.

                          It did a pretty good job apart from extended the length of the beak and tail feather but a combination of the clone stamp and spot healing brush tool will sort that out
