Female and male goosander low POV

I got a few funny looks when lying flat on the ground taking these shots.

Two lovely shots Gary. This reminded me of a friend who did just that. He was lying in some reeds beside a pond trying to get a shot of a pair of Creasted grebes. He heard someone say "Oh my God" the next thing he knew he was surrounded by police and ambulance, they thought he was a dead body.

Dead body or not, if he got shots as good as Gary, then all credit to him.

There is wisdom in photography that if you can get down to the subjects eye level, you get a much more pleasing shot. I do tend to have problems with Giraffes though!

Hi Gary, Two super captures well taken with a low point of view. Very nice.

          Nicely done

When I see "my" goosander she is on the river a couple of feet below the bank so I don't think I could get a low shot like those.

Well worth getting low if you get shots like these Gary, it would be the getting up that I would struggle with. Shopping in the Fair City once a week, I am surprised you got some funny looks with some of the sights I have seen.
