    The Kambula Pride

The Kambula pride at Mala Mala in the Sabi Sands, South Africa, have recently given birth to 13 cubs. One of the females was making her way back to the pride with her 2 cubs when we came across them as they crossed the Sand River. It's annoying about the blade of grass across the cubs face in the 4th image, but I quite like the action of it as it wades across the river.

All images taken with an EOS 5D III and 70-200mmf/4L IS lens.

    Thankls for looking.

    thats a lot of loins

The cub in the water is super, have you tried to remove the blade of grass across his nose - something that photoshop could sort in a few seconds

Thanks Stan. I don't use Photoshop so it will have to stay there. I aim to get it right in camera, I just don't always succeed!

Four great shots Brian, I can't see anything wrong with a blade of grass across the face, its natural, its what happens when creatures are moving around, items of vegetation get in shot. Its something I accept and I have many hundreds of similar shots of many creatures that I've taken in Kenya over the years
