    Long Billed Vulture

    The Tala zone of Bandhavgarh National Park is well know for its huge mountainous terrain which rises high of the jungle below and is home to a significant population of these Long Billed Vultures. During a brief respite searching for Tigers managed a few shots as a group was circling around on the warm thermals.

      Thanks Stan , its an extra long middle toe and claw as far as I can tell , it was a long way off

            Great shot Steve. It looks to me that he just has one of his claws extended rather than curled up.
